|
Organising next pub crawl in the 'Toon' and suggest the following route just for a change ...
Date: TBA - but Boothy's birthday in May so maybe around then?
Suggested route
Start at Gosforth High Street and move to Jesmond, via West Jesmond. There are some excellent pubs in this locality, also offering some interesting local real ales. Basically, get the Metro to South Gosforth/Regents Centre and start drinking!
Gosforth pubs
New Three Mile Inn
Gosforth Park Hotel
Brandling Arms
The Millstone
Jesmond pubs
The Lonsdale
Osbornes (if its a nice day good to sit outside)
Bar at the Brandling
The Collingwood
The Carriage
The Royal Archer
Jesmond/Sandyford
The Cradlewell
The Punch Bowl
Newcastle City Centre
The Percy Arms
Obviously we cant get through all of these so need to be selective but can play this by ear on the day as it were.

Sounds good - count me in
Bad time of year for me though - BMF Peterboro, TT, Farmyard and Glastonbury |

June's bad for me (unless Farmyard and Glastonbury get cancelled)
I feel that we all have enough on in the summer and all day drinking sessions, as good as they are, are best kept for winter time
Anyone agree?
