Managed to persuade the current Mrs El Presidente to go on a short touring holiday. Going to Skerries, Galway and Donegal. Mind you, if the weather's like it was for Stormin' I'm taking the bloody car!
Fitting in a trip to Killalane Road Races at Skerries - should be great!

Told the current Mrs El P about the races on the ferry - didn't go down too badly!
Races were absolutely fantastic. It makes the TT look safe. Walking round the track between races, inches away from the action, talking to riders on the grid, etc etc. Also went into a fantastic bikers pub, The Yacht Bar at Loughshinney and had a brilliant night. Skerries itself is a lovely place too.
It's only about 30 minutes drive from Dublin airport so may be worth looking into getting cheap flights from Teesside next year. Could easily be done in a weekend.

Sounds great, Nick. I've seen the pics of the Yaght Bar on the www.between-the-hedges.com forum. It looks like the place was bouncing!! Not spotted you though. It was a good weekend up at the Mount. I got my bright orange overalls toned down a bit with a load of scribbles from some of the top riders in the paddock. Had a busy day saturday, with a record number of fallers at the Mere, but sunday was more well behaved, with just one down and a sidecar passenger fell out going up the hill.
