Faro 2009Anyone fancy a few days at Europes biggest bike rally?16th-19th July Flights are about £70 at the moment and the site is a 5 min walk from the airport and 20 mins from the beach A 4 Day event plus camping 2 days prior to and 2 days after the rally and show for around 40 Euros. 24 hour bar's. Bands, music, Wet T-shirt contest and female erotica shows. A goodie bag which contains 2 raffle tickets, a rally badge and stickers, a wrist band, a T-shirt which may be exchaged for your correct size, post card, condoms, an events programme and registration form, vouchers for meals and drinks and a free gift 2 day Custom Bike Show, plaques and money prizes for the best entrants to the show. On Saturday lunch time a free for all event of grilled sardines and red wine takes place. Free buses into Faro Street entertainers. Toilets, toilet paper, showers, waste disposal, washing facilities and running water which are all serviced on a regular basis. Water sprinklers to cool off under. Electric lighting. 2 very large marques to sit, eat, drink and be merry under. Information centre with free Internet access, lost and found and the services of a motorbike mechanic. Public telephones and a cash point machine too. The Oasis Party Tent, DJ, large screen TV's and its very own large man made Oasis swimming pool with water feature. Central radio contol centre to deal with all eventualities, should any arise. On site medical centre with ambulances and paramedic mobile support units. Fire Service. Stalls selling the Moto Clube de Faro merchandise, tattooists, food, drink, cigarettes and all nature of goods. Security is provided by members of the Moto Clube de Faro, members of other Portuguese motorbike clubs, good friends of the Moto Clube De Faro like myself, the local police and the Portuguese armed forces! Free food and drink on the Sunday |
