Lord Stones Cafe - Tuesday19th August 2008Anyone up for a trip to Lord Stones next Tuesday? Subject to it not pissing down natch. Capers and myself already confirmed but the more the merrier. Capers suggested meeting in Great Ayton at Suggit's (say around 6.30 p.m.) unless anyone has a better idea?

Sounds good.
Unfortunately, I'll be doing my little bit towards protecting the future of racing in the Isle of Man by marshaling at the Manx GP
But if you get rained off or want to go the following week as well (26th) then count me in

Enjoy the Marshalling ... I must find an excuse to go to the IOM next year (better start planting the seeds with Mrs P). Hopefully the weather will hold out for you!

Seems Nick'll be in the pub early tonight, as the first MGP practice is a victim of the weather. Hope it picks up on monday when I arrive

How about Tues 9th Sept?
(Manx was a bit wet to start with but didn't stop it being absolutely fantastic!)

I got back yesterday from what was a truly memorable MGP.
From arriving on the Claddaghs early monday morning, with the River Sulby about to burst it's banks, to the ride back to the ferry early yesterday morning in a sheet of rain reminiscent of my Niagara Falls experience, I have to say that I wouldn't have missed it for the world!!!.............

The 9th sounds good ... I will hopefully see you there ... must start work on the rest of the Kings bikers to ensure a good turn out. By the way, have you seen Steve G's new Beemer yet? Its a cracker.
