Lord Stones CafeHad a good night last night at Lord Stones Cafe, Carlton Bank near Stokesley
Tuesday night is bike meet night - ther must have been a good hundred bikes (and a hundred good bikes) there enjoying a rare nice evening, cheap tea and food.
Even better having a cheap Thai bar meal in the Blackwell Ox's happy hour on the way there. Sitting watching the bikes ride past with a pint of Black Sheep.

Tuesday's at Lord StonesWent again a couple of weeks ago and had a great night - lookin' at bikes and exchanging chat ... pie, chips, peas and a pint for about £4.00 - excellent value (not that I condone drinkin' and ridin'). BOTFMCC should pay a group visit - could get some nice photos for the website before the shite weather returns (who said it never went anywhere?) ...

Mmmm.. speedway! My very first job was working at Brough Park Speedway in the Toon - selling programmes. I think I still have a signed photo of Ivan Mauger somehwere - must dig it out! Rode for the Diamonds way back when but I think was with another team when I met him.
