Although I was never in the armed forces, I was a sea cadet. I was also a member of the Sherburn in Elmet Ex-Servicemen's Club, 1964-5.
So this rally should be right up my street

I've sent off my rally fee, so I definitely won't be going, and am unlikely to see any of you there. Saves a bit on petrol, too.

Good on yer lets see some more of us not going. It'll be a great party!!!!!!!! I wasn't in the forces except for a stint in the Royal Observer Corp.

I wonder if they do a white poppy badge for pacifists?

I got my badge and certificate yesterday, but no map of location of the rally, so now I don't know where I'm not supposed to be on december the 21st.
