Trip to France Summer 2010As discussed at our Christmas trip to Newcastle how about a summer holiday in France, 2010?
I have access to a (very) cheap gite in the Dordogne region. Duras, between Bergerac and Bordeaux. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and vineyards nearby, walking distance from the town, 6(ish) bedrooms plus loads more space, 3 bathrooms, etc
Thought it would be nice to have a leisurely ride down through France (maybe 3 days stopping at the Loire or Atlantic coast) a week or so chilling out at the gite then a leisurely ride back.
I was thinking of perhaps the beginning or the end of the school hols (there is a wine festival at the end of August)
No urgency to book it yet but I am just putting out a few feelers
